Parent Advisory Association (PAA)

At Nashville Global Academy we recognize that parental involvement is essential to the successful education of our students, and we are committed to encouraging parents to become leaders in our community.  The Academy’s Parent Advisory Association (PAA) is a parent-only volunteer group, which is comprised of all interested parents who choose to attend its monthly meetings.  The PAA meets the second Tuesday of each month at 2:30 PM and agendas for the monthly meetings are distributed beforehand to the entire school community along with the monthly calendars (usually by the 5th day of each month).  Meetings usually begin with a 30-minute in-service training activity on a topic ranging from effective strategies that parents can utilize to help their children study more effectively to accessing the communities’ social service agencies. The second half of the meetings provide a venue for the school’s parents and administration to discuss issues that parents feel need to be addressed.
