Civic Engagement

Character formation occurs within the home and the learning community.  We seek to become good people because we recognize that our actions and choices affect other people.  The Nashville Global Academy encourages its students to become active, conscientious, and respectful citizens within the Nashville Global Academy community, as well as within in their homes and communities, and our larger society.

All Nashville Global Academy students learn about their responsibilities as leaders. They are provided a broad range of opportunities to develop and practice leadership skills through volunteer organizations, the Student Government Association, team sports, and in class.  In addition, students are afforded numerous opportunities to serve the Greater Nashville community through volunteer work with a number of organizations. Hence, the impact of the Nashville Global Academy transcends the campus into Greater Nashville and beyond.
