Academics

Nashville Global Academy students will:

• attain proficiency in English/Language arts and demonstrate reading, writing and literacy proficiency at all grade levels.
• accurately apply mathematical principles and demonstrate their attainment of skills and knowledge in mathematics, computer science and other sciences resulting in increased problem solving, critical thinking, technology and mathematical reasoning skills
• demonstrate proficiency in the social sciences.
• acquire the knowledge and skills to demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing and speaking Spanish and one or more of the following languages: French, Japanese, Arabic or Mandarin Chinese.
• develop and appreciation for diverse cultures, the fine and performing arts, and humanities via their active participation in art, music, drama, dance and other forms of cultural expression.
• demonstrate a thorough understanding of the importance of physical, emotional, social, and self development.
• demonstrate civic engagement through their individual portfolios, journals and participation in community service and service-learning initiatives.
